Ok. Finally Let's start work! been memorising since 8.30pm =/ Kinda slack though. was working on my ec3 project.
the poem I selected is very special, it talks about death! Well, it actually talks about how the author want his family to feel after his death, as the author wrote this as he was a soldier fighting brutally in a battlefield. Ok, now I try and type it out. So long!

Simplify Me when I am Dead ---- by Keith Douglas

Remember me when I am dead,
And simplify me when I am dead.

As the processes of Earth,
strip off the colour and the skin,
take the brown hair and blue eye.

And leave me simplier than at birth,
When hairless I came howling in,
And the moon came in the cold sky.

Of my skeleton, perhaps
so stripped, a learned man would say
"He was of such a type and intelligence" no more

Thus when in a year collapse
particular memories, you may
deduce from the long pain i bore

The opinions I held, who was my foe
and what I left, even my appearance
but incidents will be no experience

Time's wrong-way telescope will show,
a minute man ten years hence,
and by distance simplified.

Crap! I cannot remember from here onwards. And After checking I found several errors too >.<

"but incidents will be no experience" SHOULD BE "but incidents will be no guide"

ok to admit, the last stanza i put has some referral to the book itself. Honestly, i wonder how some of my friends were able to memorise it in 1 day!!! O.N.E DAY!!
So now, i just need to slog my way through the poem till I sleep, maybe I want to sleep now.. *yawns*

Ok, before I 4got, I got to research on the poet himself!! Argh.. why should I need to memorise another piece of information.

Well, to end off, the day just came and went like usual. Nothing different, went to school, my father brought me to Sim Lim Sqaure now... for no reason. (maybe to look at laptops)

Oh yeah, i forgot. My father has started to ban me from the Laptop again!!! =(
